David Christie ‎– Cindy Lou / Christie’s Medley (1985)

Before the Christmas break, this is the last post of 2015 which I hope everyone will enjoy.
Merry Christmas everyone! And I wish you all a very Happy New Year too!  See you all in 2016! 🙂

Cindy Lou 7Sit back and enjoy David Christie’s 1985 single “Cindy Lou”, which was released on 7″ and 12″ vinyl records in different countries including the UK, France and Finland. The b-side of the single is “Christie’s Medley” of his international hits that he wrote for other artists: “Do It Yourself” (Gloria Gaynor); “Do or Die” (Grace Jones); “I Love To Love” (Tina Charles); and “Strut Your Funky Stuff” (Frantique).
This was David’s second medley of hits that he recorded since “Bolden’s Medley” from the album “Love Is The Most Important Thing” in 1977.

David Christie – Christie’s Medley (UK Version, 1985).

There are three variations of “Christie’s Medley” known so far, and each has a different production. In all versions, David played all the instruments himself except for the horn section and backing vocals.
One of the three versions also appears on the rare hard-to-find “Stress” album only on vinyl – see album section for track listing HERE !
David Christie’s “Medley” (from the album “David Christie – Best Of 2013”) is available to buy as digital download from iTunes, Amazon, Emusic, and 7-Digital.

Enjoy the “Cindy Lou” single including the 7″ edit of  “Christie’s Medley”, which has never been re-released, below!
