Fans Top Played David Christie Songs on Streaming Music Services!

Awesome! In less than a week of the release of “David Christie – The Essentials” album, two of David’s unreleased tracks from the album, “Mambo Dance” and “Choochoochoo”, makes the top played songs amongst fans on Deezer, Spotify, Google Play, and Amazon! That’s great news – well done everyone, keep it up! Can we get David’s great music in the official music charts for 2015 ?


Speaking of the new release of the “Essentials” album, the digital album is now available to purchase from Amazon (International), Google Play, and ITunes (International). The sad news is that the music store, Qobuz, have withdrawn two of David Christie’s albums from its catalogue: “The Essentials” and “The Very Best of David Christie”, which was available in high quality 16 bit FLAC Format. What a shame they are denying fans from purchasing David’s HQ audio albums; and they also denied wider public exposure of the great mans work!

Gibson Brothers and David Christie – Let’s All Dance (re-released Digital Single, 2015)

On a much happier note, David Christie’s collaboration with the Gibson Brothers on the 1991 single “Let’s All Dance” gets a re-release by Private Life Records! The 3-track digital single was released on the 6th of April 2015, and includes the radio edit and mixes, which are available to purchase now from online digital music stores – see the “Current Album Releases” page for where to purchase!

David Christie now on Tidal!


The good news is that David Christie is now on the new music streaming service Tidal! So far there is only one album available to listen to, “David Christie – The Best of 2013”, but hope there will be more albums to follow in the future! Access to Tidal is restricted as it is only a paid subscription based service; however, check out David’s page for info at !

French Comedy Movie “BIS” Gets A DVD Release!

In last months post, it was mentioned that David’s classic hit song “Saddle Up” was featured in the French comedy movie “Bis”.and its soundtrack! The movie tells the story of two childhood friends who are now in their 40’s, played by Franck Dubosc and Kad Merad, who accidentally time-travel back to the 1980’s. “BIS” will be released on DVD and Blu-ray (no English subtitles) on the 24th of June 2015, and is available for preorder from Amazon France online store!
